PURPOSE:To dispense with the separation work of an operation section before a connection section is separated and improve the machining workability of a substrate member by inserting a wedge into the through hole of a substrate to cut terminal pieces of a terminal member and separating the connection section. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 20 is made of glass fiber-reinforced epoxy resin and can be divided into a substrate main body 25 and an operating piece 26 by notched grooves 23 and 24 on the surface and rear faces. Terminal pieces 32 are inserted into holes 31 of the main body 25 and bent along the rear face and connected to a wiring layer 29 with solder. The interval of terminal pieces is set to l10 4mm, and the width is set to l 20 1mm. Circular holes 37 are formed on the operating piece at positions corresponding to the terminal pieces 32 at the interval W from the notched groove 23. Positioning holes 39 are provided near the side 38 of the operating piece 26, the substrate 20 is positioned when the terminal pieces 32 are cut off, a cutting edge is inserted into the holes 37 to cut off the terminal pieces 32, and the connection section 26 is separated. The operating piece can be conveyed and machine-processed while being fitted to a transfer conveyor, and the machining workability is improved. |
