<p>The tip of the sports shoe (1) incorporates a layer (2) made of verywear resistant plastic, such as rubber or polyurethane. The layer (2) extends from the area near the inside ball of the foot obliquely over the front part of the sole to the outside edge, where the layer (2) curves over the edge to form an edging strip (3). In the area of the inside ball of the foot, the layer (2) takes the form of a circular pattern (4) for pivoting on. The layer (2) is perforated with holes which cover both the circular pattern (4) and the edging strip (3). The layer (2) tapers inside the sole down into an edge (6) to form an easy transition between the tread (1) and the layer (2).</p> |
