Flow meter for tap water - has intermittently driven rotor operating pulse generator to control remote indicator

The flow meter measures the consumption of tap water and indicates it digitally at a remote place from the detector. It uses a pulse generator responsive to the intermittent rotation to a rotor. The rotor comprises a cam plate with a dwell portion of the same radius and a number of recesses formed at the outer periphery and a coaxially rotating disc capable of rotating relatively to the cam plate within a prescribed angle. An intermittently-driven member has projections capable of being engaged with recesses at the outer periphery of the disc. Pulses are sent to the remote indicator (30).
