PURPOSE:To simplify the structure by integrally moding an annular slot with the inner surface of the shoulder of a frame molded with a stator, a can and an opposite load side bearing engaging unit, sealing a water sealing material at the inner periphery of the can, and forming an axial drain hole. CONSTITUTION:When a stator core 2, a stator winding 3 and a can 4 are molded to integrally mold a frame 5, the opposite load side of the frame 5 is formed in a shape bent toward the central direction in L-shaped section, and a through hole 5e is formed. An annular slot 5f is integrally molded on the inner surface of a shoulder bent at the frame 5, and a water sealing member 8 is sealed at the inner periphery of the can 4. A drain hole 5g for connecting the depth of the slot 5f with the outer end face of the frame 5 is formed axially, and leaked water from the member 8 is exhausted externally. In this manner, the structure is simplified to reduce the cost, and the deterioration in the insulator of the stator due to the leakage water can be prevented. |
