<p>1501370 Camouflage material HOECHST AG 27 Dec 1972 [5 Jan 1972] 59682/72 Heading D1B Camouflage material is made by pigmenting synthetic fibres, sheets or films with carbon black and then cross-dyeing or cover printing the material with a dyestuff appropriate for camouflage in the visible range of the spectrum. The material is useful for camouflage both in the visible and infra-red ranges. In Examples, polyester, polyamide or regenerated cellulose fibres are spun-dyed with carbon black and then dyed an olive or khaki colour with mixtures of specified disperse, acid, metal complex, or reactive dyestuffs. In Example 7 the material dyed is cellulose acetate foil containing titanium dioxide and carbon black.</p> |
