The process and the device make it possible to feed an electrochemical reactor (6) which must contain a mixture of solid particles (6, 2) and of a liquid, the proportions of which are constant. A substantially compact heat mass is prepared, comprising primary particles and a small quantity of a compacting liquid, after which this feed mass is eroded so as to dissociate it into secondary particles which are entrained into the reactor liquid with the aid of at least one carrier liquid.
