<p>The wiper consists of the wiper proper and a removable hand grip, the latter equipped with fixed and hinging clamping jaws securing the wiper. A replaceable spring (8) is mounted between the jaws (7, 9). The latter can be held together by bolts passing through holes in them. Washers fit round the bolts between the jaws, against which the rear edge of the wiper bears when fitted in place. The spring can be of the U-shaped leaf type, one arm beingsseucred to the fixed jaw, typically by means of a rivet. The free ends of the U can extend towards the handle.</p> |
