PURPOSE:To improve performance effect by easy operation as good as a specialist by providing a means which reads performance data out of a performance control data storage means and carries out performance control over a musical sound signal generated by a sound source means when a player carries out performance operation by the sound source means in synchronism with the playback operation of a playback means. CONSTITUTION:Performance data on the start and stop of sound generation and note specification from performance data of the player are left and other performance data are extracted from model performance and stored as the performance control data in a subcode such as CD105. Then the player plays the part of, for example, a trumpet timed to the playback of a CD105 except the part of the trumpet. Pitch data obtained with a pitch specification switch 202c operated for performance and tone length data are sent to a musical instrument control part 201. The musical instrument control part 201 uses the performance control data read out with the subcode of the CD 105 and controls the performance of the player. Consequently, even when a beginner plays, the performance effect can be increased as good as a specialist. |
