<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the rise of the terminal voltage of an alternating current excited synchronous motor in time of interruption of load, by opening a generator breaker and switching the secondary excitation control from set value control to forced voltage down control, when an emergency stop fault is detected based on the function of an emergency stop protective relay. CONSTITUTION:When an emergency stop fault occurs, a generator breaker 28 cuts off a load through function of an emergency stop protective relay 27 and the unit stops. On this occasion, a voltage controller 21 is operated by a selective switch circuit 23 on condition that the emergency stop protective relay 27 has operated the generator breaker 28, and the voltage controller 21 gives a forced voltage down signal to an inverter controller 16. This makes it possible to suppress the terminal voltage rise of an alternating current excited synchronous motor well when the load is cut off.</p> |
