<p>The mobile crane is used for handling light loads and is constructed from square section tubing. Pinned socket joints enable the structure to be dismantled for storage and transportation. It has a tripod base (1) fitted with a large diameter wheel (2, 3, 4) at each corner. The front (6) has an approximately vertical triangular frame (5) holding the manually operated winch (10) and forming an articulation (9) for the jib (8) at the top. The frame has stays on to the rear of the base. The jib can swing vertically and has a pulley (13, 14) each end for the cable (11), passing under (12) the base. A hook (16) is provided for lifting.</p> |
