Recording of motor vehicle gas analysis instrumentation - uses optical fibre to transmit readings to self-processing film

Display of oscillograms or digital readout on motor vehicle gas analysis instrumentation is recorded using a photographic recorer. An instantaneously developed film is used. Indications from the display unit of an instrument are photographically recorded by mounting the photographic equipment on the instrument by a collar or support guides. The mounting enables optical projection of the display to be performed using a semi reflecting mirror. Another method of projection comprises use of a fibre optic conductor whose end abuts frosted glass.
