<p>1453534 Cryogenic tanks MESSER GRIESHEIM GmbH 3 May 1974 [8 May 1973] 19551/74 Heading F4P A cryogenic tank has its gas outlet, liquid withdrawal and filling pipes 9, 11, 10 arranged so that the tank can be used in both vertical and horizontal positions. The mouths 12, 15, 14 of pipes 9, 10, 11 are arranged in the same plane, the mouth 12 being adjacent the transition between end face 5 and the cylindrical wall 13, the mouth 14 being located on the opposite side of the container axis from mouth 12 and adjacent the transition between end face 7 and wall 13, and the mouth 15 being located near to wall 13 in the half of container 1 adjacent end face 5. A plurality of containers may be used in series, the gas pipe 12 of one being connected to the liquid withdrawal pipe of the next (Fig. 3, not shown), and both a single container and an installation with a plurality of cylinders can be mounted in wooden frames (Figs. 4 and 5, not shown).</p> |
