The box, made from cardboard or another semi-rigid material, is constructed from a pre-cut and pre-grooved blank which folds up to form a rectangular box with a base, four sides and a lid. The front wall of the box (3) has a cut tab piece (8) which is glued to an over lapping flap (7), attached to the lid to form a temporary connection. The cardboard is of a nature and thickness such that when the middle part of the lip flap is pulled, using a small flap (9) defined by two notches, the tab piece splits into two, thus unsealing the box.
