The adhesive dispenser has a tube (1) fitted with a cap (3) one end and a cover (25) the other end. Inside is a piston (9) above which a spring (18) is retained by a collar (19). The spindle (12) of the piston has a tapered end (13) acting as a valve against a sloping seating (5) at the nozzle (4) of the cap. Pressure is raised inside the chamber (23) filled with the adhesive is released through the nozzle by pressure on the protruding tip (14) of the spindle which pushes the valve (13) back. The piston (9) has a slot (11) each side which allows air to leak through from the space (6) inside the cap to the chamber (23) above, in the manner of the capillary.
