<p>The machine is used for finish grinding of cylindrical workpieces and/or for the grinding of chamfers on the ends of the parts. The parts can e.g. be compression springs. The machine consists of two rotating drums which are placed next to one another and which are used to transport the parts to the work stations and for holding the workpieces during the machining operation. Each workpiece is moved in such a way, that one end can be machined when the part is held on one drum and the other end can be machined when the part is held on the other drum. A transfer station is provided with which the parts can be transferred from the first drum to the second.</p> |
