The electrode set consists of a circuit board covered with metal on two sides. The outer metal layer forming the shield electrode is electrically connected to a shield tube and the inner metal layer forming the measuring electrode is connected to a signal wire. The carrier plate of the circuit board consists of a flexible dielectric plastics material. It can be made of polytetrafluorethylene with metal layers, e.g. copper. The outer metal layer can have a circular hole to the edge of which the shield tube is soldered, while the signal wire leads through another hole and is soldered to the inner metal layer.
