<p>Bell-shaped shower fitting for head and body produces a fixed central jet for head massage, and a surrounding annular jet for the body, of which the properties can be varied by parallel-axis movement of the fitting (1) relative to the floor. The ring nozzles consist of a ring of grooves (15) parallel to the bell axis, in the inner edge of the bell housing (1). The groove ends in an annular end portion of the bell housing, which tapers conically in the jet direction, and is separated into individual nozzles by a cone body (3). The frustoconical surface of the cone body opposite the grooves is shaped into an undulating peripheral surface (19) by recesses at a lower angle to the axis than the frustoconical surface, with its larger and abutting sealingly-against the housing wall. Water inflow to the ring shower can be blocked upstream of the grooves and cone body by means of the cone body without varying the cross-section of the grooves.</p> |
