<p>The firearm has external, rotating hammer which can be cocked by hand. The hammer intended for striking a firing pin is held so that inadvertent pulling of trigger, impact or shock will not make hammer active when latter is at rest. The trigger lever upper part contacts blocking step on the hammer for preventing upwards movement of the trigger lever. The hammer has guide face (18) for contact with trigger (7). When the hammer is rotated out of its rest position into its cocked position then the trigger lever is moved into its upper position. This mechanism is used for revolvers and a spring loaded plug (39) at the drum centre exerts load on the trigger lever.</p> |
