<p>Thin thermoplastic mouldings are produced using a fixed extruder and mould, and a conveyor to continuously carry extruded film to an intermittently operating moulding device. A continuous drive operates a cooling roller after the extruder, a feed roller before the conveyor, and guide wheels in the conveyor; there are guides for the conveyor, and a drive arrangement to move the whole convey -or in the direction of movement of the film. The film is positively guided without excessive cooling and has a uniform temp. because it has continuous uninterrupted movement.</p> |
