<p>Automatic piston comprises a frame, a hammer, a sear to cooperate with the hammer, a trigger mechanism to cooperate with the sear, and a safety mechanism which is displaceable between an inoperative position and an operative position. The hammer has a cam surface and the safety mechanism has a cam member with a cam surface which cooperates with the cam surface of the hammer when the safety mechanism is displaced into its operative position while the hammer is in a cooked position, to cock the hammer beyond its cocked position and release the hammer from the sear.</p> |
