The two-part toilet lid (1, 2) can be raised or lowered by means of a handle (8) and a sliding bolt (3) as far as the gripping angle; alternatively, the lid alone can be moved, and both lids may be moved together. The top part (4a) of a housing (10) and the bottom part (4a) are joined by means of a hinge (4) and can flap up on the lid (1). A bridge piece (9) is joined to the top part (4a) from underneath in order to force the top part (4a) by means of screws (6) and the lid by means of a compensating screw (5) into the clamp. A sliding tube (7) with a lifting slot (12) and the part receiving the lever handle (8) with a hole for the sliding bolt (3) and guide (13) ends at an angle (11) for raising the seat (2).
