PURPOSE:To make it possible to record in multiple stages on one recording position by means of easy method and realize high density recording. CONSTITUTION:A record medium provided with a recording layer is used. The recording layer is arranged on a support body and constituted of a crystal organic thin film whose crystal state changes reversibly with heat through a photothermal converting layer. Recording is performed on this record medium by changing a laser irradiation condition dependent on information signal and changing magnitude of a changing part of a recording position in multiple stages. Regeneration output level of multiple stage are obtained by this multiple stage recording. |
