PURPOSE: To improve in the structural simplification of a brake system and safety in the function. CONSTITUTION: A shutoff valve is provided with a valve seat 36 at the consumer side and a closing member 39 at the pressure generating side, and this closing member is engageable with this valve seat 36 on an armature 59 by means of magnetic force. A compression spring 64 is disposed between the armature 59 and the closing member 39. This spring exerts a closing force determining a response pressure at the valve closing position, on the closing member 39. In brief, the shutoff valve and a pressure limiting valve are actualized in a valve unit 24. Foreign matter deposited on the valve seat 36 due to a pressure limiting function is washed out at a once-through transfer position of the shutoff valve. The valve unit 24 is suited to a brake system equipped with a skid control-combined-traction control device. |
