<p>PURPOSE:To remove noise due to the loop drive of a sheet and at the same time conduct skew correction that diminishes jam occurrence regardless of a sheet basis weight, by providing a transport means that consists of a plurality of independent drive sources and transports sheet materials, a sheet material skew amount inspection means and a control means that corrects a skew amount. CONSTITUTION:Rollers R1, R2 that butt against a sheet material P and transport it in the D direction, are provided in a right angle direction to the transport direction D, and have respective independent drive source motors M1, M2. At the front of transporting the sheet material P, sensors S1, S2 acting as inspection means are arranged at right angles to the transport direction D, and when sensors S1, S2 inspect the front end of the material P, signals are transmitted to a control circuit C. Next, the circuit C calculates the existence of the skew of the material P and the amount of skew from the shift of signals from S1, S2, and the regulation of roller R1, R2 transport speeds is made by controlling motor M1, M2 rotation numbers, and skew is corrected.</p> |
