Facing for walls consists of rectangular panels whose external surfaces resemble natural materials such as brick or stone. The panels have spaces in between to resemble strips of mortar. Each of the panels has flanges along its edges, the flanges of an upper and a side edge of each panel forming wedges, and openings or holes for panel fasteners. The flanges on the lower edge and the other side form inclined external walls defining adjustment slots of similar dimensions to the wedges. The panels are so designed that when placed together, all fixing points are concealed by the overlapping of adjacent panels and the panel-joints do not coincide with visible mortar strips.
|
