<p>A thermostatic control for a shutter controlling the flow of hot and cold gases into an air filter as in a motor vehicle is described. The shutter is pivotted in such a way relative to the hot and cold air supply pipes that it can totally close either one and open the other, or be infinitely variable between these two extremities. The shutter is controlled through a shaft by a thermostat unit comprising a fixed part and a movable pusher. The shaft is connected to the thermostat unit, which is parallel to it, by a lever. The shaft is acted on by springs which ensure its return. The appts. is designed to simplify the mounting and regulation of the equipment and to lower the cost by virtue of reducing the number of components in the appts.</p> |
