<p>An intelligence data terminal for use with data processing system allows connection with a number of peripherals. The terminal is based around a built-in microprocessor, thus allowing decisions to be made without the need to utilise main computer time. The data terminal has a numerical display field, indicator, keyboard and interface to main computer. The microprocessor is connected to ROM storage, RAM storage input-output control and address decoder. Input-output interfaces connect with peripherals. Keyboard facility are coupled to the processor over drive coupled to buffers.</p> |
