The oil filled central heating boiler has a hot water tank (1) at the top with upper and lower (2) water connections, and with a burner compartment (5) at the bottom. The hot gases pass up through an opening (11) to a set of horizontal tubes (13) immersed in the water, then to a chimney (14). The diameter of the burner compartment can be easily selected to suit the size of the burner and the capacity of the tank. The central axis of the burner compartment can be offset from the axis of the burner seen in front elevation. At the same time the rear plate (7) can be positioned further from the front opening (6) for the larger sizes.
|
