<p>The shoe is for use in music hall acts and has a plate (3) articulated to the sole (1). It pivots on an axle (4) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shoe and the free extremity of the plate can be moved up and down. The inner surface of the plate and the corresponding surface of the sole can be painted red and can have some teeth (6, 7) to give the effect of a talking shoe. The plate is moved by an airtight flexible capsule (11), between the sole and the plate, joined to a bulb (13). A spring (5) returns the plate to its original position.</p> |
