Parent Patent described moulded prods. comprising comminuted foam with a particle size is not >2 mm in a polyurethane matrix, and having density 160-960 kg/m3. The mould comminuted foam/polyurethane prods. are made in density range 800, esp. 960 kg/m3-1200 kg/m3. The higher density prods. have excellent wear resistance, elasticity, and recovery from compressive loadings. Used esp. in prodn. of shoe soles. |
