<p>PURPOSE:To simultaneously carry out weaving of a fastener tape, and forming, weaving-in and tacking of a tooth line at a high speed by a method wherein the tooth line is woven in an tacked along a selvage of the fastener tape by a group of the tacking warp and the weft with engaging head parts facing the center of the fastener tape. CONSTITUTION:Engaging head parts 29 and joint-turning parts 30 are formed along a synthetic resin monofilament 11 previously. Said monofilament 29 is positioned along a selvage 16 and bent so that the engaging head parts 29 are located on the side of the tape warp groups 3 and 4, and the joint-turning parts 30 are located outside the tacking warp groups 5 and 6. As a result, a tooth line 33, whose engaging head parts 29 are turned towards the side of the tape warp groups 3 and 4 and whose upper and lower leg parts 31 and 32 and joint-turning parts 30 are located inside the tacking warp groups 5 and 6, can be produced by connecting and winding of the synthetic resin monofilament 11 upon hooks 18 with a second carrier 10 and by reed-beating with a teeth forming plate 14.</p> |
