<p>The stackable locking sleeve is for packing straps, having a backplate with two side plates tapering slightly outwards from it towards the opening. Each side plate has a gripping device consisting of a recess formed in the outside and a boss on the inside, fitting together when stacked. The material pressed out of the recess (14) forms on the inside a protruding lug (17) and the distance of the recess from the backplate (22) is small enough for this lug to fit between adjacent backplates (22, 23) when stacked. The lug (13) engaging in the recess can be of sawtooth cross-section, the steep side of the tooth fitting against the side (19) of the recess in the next side plate (23) nearest the backplate.</p> |
