<p>The disc brake mounting frame (1) locates two or several tie bolts (11) with which the two pressure plates (8, 9) are connected. The threaded end (18) of a tie bolt (11) is located by a clearance hole (26) in the pressure plate which carries the brake cylinder (14). The tie bolt is anchored by an external nut (27) and a lock nut with a location coliar (29) on the opposite side of the pressure plate. A rubber cap (31) protects the outside nut and bolt end. The opposite end of the tie bolt (11) has a screw location in the reaction pressure plate (8).</p> |
