<p>An enclosure is for electronic and electrical components intended to be mounted on a panel surface. The design offers proper insulation between the box and mounting surface, requiring no drilling to allow components to be installed and allows the box interior to be easily inspected. The base of the box has slots for fixing cable and component clamps arranged as a broken cross. A panel within the enclosure carries a matrix of square holes to permit the securing of components using self-tapping screws. The interior can be inspected by rotating the cover on one edge of the box using a ball joint to which the cover is attached by a bolt which also locks the cover in position.</p> |
