The joining assembly between two railway vehicles gives relative movement horizontally and vertically between the two bodies, and includes a passage way from one body to the other. There are two semicylindrical parts (3, 4) on a vertical axis. The axis is made of an upper half ring (5) a lower one (6) and two columns (7) which join them. The lower half rings turn on a hinge (8), with horizontal axis, on the floor. Both half rings have pivots (9, 10) on a vertical axis. On this the adjacent body can swivel. The hinge with the horizontal axis is mounted on the bolster of a central bogie.
