Articulated plate for kinetic joint therapy - has grooves in fixed panel for body securing devices and two part hinged panel

The articulated plate is partic. for use in kinesitherapy, having a horizontal fixed panel (1) on which a moving one hinges (4). Securing devices (15, 16, 18, 20) are provided for parts of the body. The fixed panel has parallel grooves acting as guides for pairs of securing devices (26) holding parts (8, 8') of the body and pressing against them if necessary. The moving panel is narrower than the fixed one, and is pref. in two identical parts, one for each leg, and hinges on the fixed one by means of a mechanism allowing movement through more than 90 deg., and locking at any angle. Each part of the moving panel has a telescopic extending component (7b) sliding in the lengthwise direction, with a footrest (10b) at the free end pivoting through 180 deg. and equipped with a weight (35) fitting over a rod (34), on which it can be locked in any position.
