Plastic tubs with a base and walls which diverge to allow open topped tubs to be stacked, where each tub features moulded helical ribs on internal and external wall faces. The internal and external patterns are at different heights so that the ribs of stacked tubs can be engaged at a height which leaves a sealed cavity between the superimposed buses. Esp. for making beakers which can be preloaded with e.g. dehydrated drinks prior to stacking. The stacked beakers enclose the portions in a sealed cavity until individual beakers are dispensed from the base of the pack. Engagement/disengagement of tubs requires little force and no jerking, facilitating detachment and reducing risk of spillage compared with use of snap-fit beakers. |
