The heat pump is intended for warming a small swimming pool, using the external air as heat source. The pump's condenser is to be of the coaxial type, and is to be wound spirally round its compressor. Pref. the connection between condenser and compressor is flexible. A regulator allows the compressor to operate only when the pressure in its suction pipe exceeds a certain minimum. The condenser and compressor have an insulating material cast round them, or are enclosed in a sound proof, heat-insulated chamber, or possible both.
