The grinding disc is the operating element in a paper pulp grinding machine. The relevant feature of the design is the special shape and layout of the individual grinding blades ensuring a more uniform fee feed-through of the pulp material. The grinding blades are arranged radially around the centre of the disc. Over a radial zone the blades are chamfered in such a manner, that the chamfering is along a plane the position of which is between the face and the side surface of the blade. The plane is parallel to or identical with the plane which intersects the face of the blade in a straight line. This straight line runs through the intersecting line between the side edge of the face and the side edge of the top surface of the blade.
