PURPOSE:To perform an alarm and speed adjustment for a driver so that a vehicle may pass a corner at its proper speed. CONSTITUTION:The reference deceleration arithmetic means M1 of a control part 3 provided on a navigation system calculated reference deceleration beta1, beta2 to be the reference of speed adjustments based on the output of a road state detection means 10 and a proper speed of passing arithmetic means M2 calculates a proper speed of passing Vp that a vehicle is capable of passing the corner of a road based on the outputs of the road surface state detection means 10, a map information output means 2 and an inertial navigating device 1 present location detection means. Further, a deceleration calculating means M3 calculates the deceleration BETAp of the vehicle necessary for passing the corner based on the output of the proper speed of passing speed calculating means M2 and a speed detection means 6, respectively. When the deceleration BETAp determined by the deceleration arithmetic means M3 exceeds the reference deceleration BETA1, BETA2 determined by the reference deceleration arithmetic means M1, a judgment means M4 actuates a speed adjusting device C and the alarm for a driver and the deceleration of the vehicle are executed, respectively. |
