<p>The induction oven, for short workpieces, has its conveying system arranged so that even relatively long work-pieces can be carried through the induction tunnel without the risk of their sticking together. This is achieved by drawing each workpiece (12) through the tunnel (4) using a cam (20A) assigned to it alone. The cams travel along a shaft (20) rotated by an electro motor. The workpieces slide along two water-cooled metal guide tubes (7, 8) located one at each side of the line of cams. The frame supporting the shaft and electro motor can be driven backwards and forwards by hydraulic rams.</p> |
