Twist-run preventing device is formed by a freely rotatable roller provided with pins, disposed equidistantly about the periphery and inclined alternately to the transverse plane of symmetry to define a concentric circular path w.r.t., periphery of the roller. The alternately inclined pins define a triangular annular space at the tip of which is the path.Used for stretching and chimping machines operating at high speeds. False twist imparted to yarn is prvented from 'running' at heating zone and 'running' is limited to a predetermined section.
