<p>1461654 Stainless steel A SEA AB 24 May 1974 [28 May 1973] 23302/74 Heading C7A A two phase ferretic-austenetic stainless steel with a good combination of high nitrocrystalline and spot corrosion resistance, high tensile strength and toughness and good hot workability comprises the composition being so balanced that the austenite contant is 30-70%, preferably 30-55%. Good properties are achieved in the solution heat treated (950-1020‹C) condition, followed by air or water quenching, and the strength may be increased by further heat treatment at 400-500‹C without loss of corrosion resistance. The sheets are suitable for separator ports where high strength and corrosion resistance are required.</p> |
