PURPOSE: To facilitate the ingestion of tablets by a pet such as a dog and a cat. CONSTITUTION: This pastille (tablet) comprises a matrix 1 made of a material which the animal finds appetizing and has two principal faces 2 and 3. The one face 2 has a recess 4 capable of receiving a tablet 5 with a repellent smell and taste prior to being ingested, while the other face 3 has a substantially smooth face. The face 3 is to be presented to the animal.
