1531305 Separating sheets TOOLEX ALPHA AB 24 Sept 1976 [24 Sept 1975] 39801/76 Heading B8R Apparatus for separating gramophone record labels 92 assembled in a pile on a post 73 comprises a pair of friction members 75, 77 which in operation contact the outermost label on diametrically opposite sides of the post 73 and are displaced towards one another to cause the outermost label to arch thereby permitting its separation from the pile. The friction members comprise fingers which are operated by cam surfaces 88 on sliding cams 79, 80 driven by a piston and cylinder arrangement 16. The pile is retained in a magazine 36 in which the pile is spring-urged against restraining lugs, the spring- urged means being shaped to provide the labels with a slightly curved surface. Two such piles may be operated on simultaneously, the piles facing one another (Fig. 1, not shown). A pneumatic conveyer (94, Fig. 3, not shown) removes the separated label. |
