<p>Pump circuit for adding a second liquid to a circulating system of a first liquid such as a fuel. The pipe supplying the fuel and the pipe supplying the additive are each fitted with a flowmeter. Each flowmeter provides an electrical signal which is indicative of the volume of liquid that has passed through the pipe during a given period. The additive is supplied in a given ratio to the total volume of fuel, by passing the signal from the fuel flowmeter through a divider circuit. The signal representing the fuel flow can be compared with the signal representing the additive in a digital circuit. The system also incorporates an alarm circuit, which will be triggered when the proportions are incorrent.</p> |
