HIGHLY LUBRICATING MILL CLEAN ROLLING OIL

PURPOSE:To provide a steel plate-rolling oil having excellent lubricity and mill cleaning property by compounding a base oil having an adjusted iodine value with an emulsifying dispersing agent, an organic polysulfide and an antioxidant as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The objective rolling oil is prepared by compounding (A) a base oil comprising a mixture (having an IV of <=30) of (i) a hydrogenated fat or oil having a low iodine value (IV) of <=30, a mineral oil, an animal or vegetable oil or a synthetic oil with (ii) >=50wt.% of a hydrogenated fat or oil having a low IV with (B) 0.1-10wt.% of an emulsifying dispersing agent, (C) an organic polysulfide having a sulfur content of 0.2-1.0wt.% of and (D) 0.5-5wt.% of an antioxidant.
