A bracket for telephone holds the hand-piece while the user has his hands free to handle documents. The bracket has a metal plate (4) which is fitted by bonding or by screws to the base of the telephone (9). It has a flexible tube (1) and a permanent magnet (3). The magnet (3) is fitted at the free end (2) of the tube (1). The hand-piece has a metal plate (6) fitted by straps (7, 8). The hand-piece may be supported by contacts of the metal plate (6) with the magnet (2).
