In this apparatus, an assembly plate (4, 4a) of a fitting part is attached to the top (1) of each ski and has a mounting for one end of an elastically extensible strap (9) in the vicinity of one edge of the ski. In order to be able to accommodate the strap (9) in a manner protected and secured against loss, so that it does not cause problems even when the skiis (2, 2a) are being used for skiing, and moreover in order to be able to use straps whose length is greater than the width of a ski, and in order to improve the cohesion of the skiis during transportation and to be able to use the same fitting part also as a snow scraper, the assembly plate (4, 4a) fixed in front of the binding on the ski (2, 2a) has a cone-like web (5, 5a) as a snow scraper which is arranged in a diametrically opposed oblique manner on the two skiis of the pair. Provided in the assembly plate, parallel to the web (5, 5a), is a continuous trough (6, 6a) for the recessed accommodation of the strap (9), which during non-use is tensioned between the holder (7, 8) arranged in the region of the ends of the trough and a counter-holder (12). <IMAGE>
