Packaging for deep frozen goods consists of a box storing the foodstuffs. The wall sections are formed by, or connected to each other by, linked flaps. The connection between the flaps (11) or between the flaps and the wall sections, is assured by a medium such as water. This guarantees that the connection can only be maintained when a min. temp. necessary to keep the frozen foods is not exceeded. Any increase in temp. changes the aggregate state of the medium to a liq. and releases the connection.
